HTCIA meetings are held on the third Thursday of every other month starting in January, check the meetings page for possible changes.  The meeting location rotate from time to time as chapter members volunteer to host.  Block out time on your calendar now.  General membership meetings begin at 10:00 AM and run until 12:00 noon usually.

The October meeting is scheduled for Thursday October 16, 2008.  This meeting will have an extended time, it will be from 10:00am to 5:00pm due to the topics covered. The meeting will be at the following location:.

Guest Speaker: Scott Moulton of Forensic Strategy Services, LLC.  This will also be our Nomination meeting for next years Officers.

Scott will be covering:   

1: He will speak on his foley of becoming a Private Investigator ( I am sure you know his involvement with this topic as he was the first to try to be removed from the stand for not being a PI in Georgia in 2006 ).   

2: He has an animated presentation on Solid State Hard Drives and the complications of data recovery and Forensics and the side effects of Solid State with examples of content from an actual Solid State Drive, not USB Flash Sticks.   

3: Advanced Data Recovery, is also an animated speech that covers rebuilding hard drives and is the primary content of the first two days he uses in his week long class.   

4: He will also present a new presentation about the top 10 things you don't know about hard drives.
